She has over 20 years professional of experience in generating and implementing cost allocation plans, indirect cost proposals, and random moment time studies. She is extremely knowledgeable in the financial aspects of federal grants and contracts management.
Other specific areas of expertise include designing and implementing time reporting software, training in the areas of federal compliance, and governmental/not-for-profit auditing. Her audit knowledge includes cities, counties, state agencies, colleges/universities, for profit and not-for-profit hospitals, and retail entities.
She holds both a B.A. in Accounting and a Masters in Taxation from Florida State University. She is a Certified Public Accountant registered with the State of Florida.
Professional and Industry Experience
Jenny has considerable professional experience in Governmental/Not-for-Profit and Health Care accounting, consulting, and auditing. Her consulting experience includes performance of costing analysis for determining the cost of reviewing, auditing, processing, and litigating claims, developing numerous user fee studies, indirect cost allocation plans, public assistance cost allocation plans, random moment time studies, time reporting systems, and documenting the process of accounting for federal funding allocations and related expenditures in several governmental entities such as the District of Columbia, Nebraska, Florida, Michigan, and Virginia.
Jenny’s audit experience includes coordination and supervision of audit teams for both financial statement audits and OMB Circular A-133 single audits, preparation of financial statements and other required reports, presentations to Boards of Directors, and in-charging a fraud investigation in conjunction with KPMG’s forensic division. She has lead numerous teams in the audit of various Florida Nursing Home Medicaid Cost Reports through contract with the State of Florida. In addition, she has work experience performing operational, financial, and compliance audits. Her audit knowledge includes cities, counties, state agencies, colleges/universities, for-profit and not-for-profit hospitals, and retail entities.
